Hammersmith Social Action Challenge

social action challenge

On a cold Saturday morning a small group of UCL Conservatives went down to help renovate the St Paul’s Centre in Hammersmith. This centre is the focus on the community and the work we were doing is very important. Jobs on the day included cleaning, washing and laying a coat of varnish on the floor.

Although only four of us made it down to the centre we really made a difference and helped the local volunteers to complete that part quicker. A big thank you to Dennis, Olivia and Lajos for coming down to help out! Many other people from the local area and the Conservative Association came along to help and it really showed that “Social Action” is key to Conservatism and that the work done there will make a real difference to the local community!
