UKIP Broadens Scope

Obliterating the false-claim that UKIP are not interested in domestic politics Robert Kilroy-Silk, or RKS as he is affectionately known in the party, has accused M&S of using mirrors that deliberately make women look slimmer. M&S were completely befuddled as to how RKS should have been so perceptive. Its a good thing we have politicians who are able to provide oversight to protect you the consumer. Its only people like RKS who prevent the corporations from running roughshod over all of us. I hope something about mirrors makes it into the next UKIP manifesto, after all they were propably European mirrors.

  1. Just one problem - RKS (you can feel the affection) isn’t in UKIP. The UK Independence Party is one of three parties that RKS has represented as an elected official (the others being Labour and Veritas). However, at the moment, he represents just himself, and he must be doing a pretty lousy job of that if he thinks that M&S’ mirrors are top of the people’s political priorities.

  2. Well the people he ‘represents’ must be feeling really content at the moment!

  3. Fortunately, as an independent, RKS has absolutely no chance of getting re-elected in the PR-elected European Parliament. The result is that he can play the prat, raise ridiculous questions to waste the EP’s time, and generally humiliate himself without threatening his (non-existent) electoral chances.

  4. Ahh there’s egg on my face then. I’ll have angry UKIP bloggers insulting me before dawn for my stupidity…

  5. Stuart Barfield Says:

Perhaps he could use mirrors to make his support look larger…
