Another disgrace from Labour

Red ArrowsThis Government is trying to destroy everything! In a current Defence spending review they are contemplating cutting the Red Arrows! Why can’t they just leave things alone?

To counter this disgrace a petition has been started on the 10 Downing Street website:

“Following admission by the MoD that funding for the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team - The Red Arrows - is to be reviewed under the latest Defence spending review, we, the British Public implore the Prime Minister to maintain funding to one of this country’s most visible and recognisable symbols.

The Team stands as an internationally recognised symbol of the high standards and fine traditions of the British Military and in a time when this country has fewer things to be proud of, should be permitted to publicise the Armed Forces of this nation.”

Click here to view the petition and sign up! It is currently the third most popular petition (behind “scrapping Inheritance tax” and “restrictions on public photography”)

  1. Stuart Barfield Says:

Yes, I have signed that now thank you Richard.

Tony Blair has taken to replying to everyone who signs the more popular petitions as of late, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we receive a reply full of spiel about ‘economising’, even if it did bring a smile to my face to see it filtered into my ’spam’ folder!

Long may these online petitions continue to be a thorn in Labours side, and an excellent way for people to express their disgust with this government’s inept, interfering and intrusive ways.
