Wow! You must have really threatened this guy! It seems to me that he has seen you as a huge threat and feels the only way he can now win back some of his support is to tell people how old you are. Age does not always equal experience and effectiveness! Sometimes those who are younger possess qualities that age and life experience can not provide you with! If I had received this leaflet then I would be completely put off voting for the Lib Dems in this area. I would rather have someone who is young and potentially inexpereinced in power than someone who feels the need to open abuse others, and worse still post his negative and vicious opinions to every house in the area! Pitt The Younger was Prime Minister by the age of 25 - I believe that that position was slightly more intimidating than the council hall. If age is their only criticism then they clearly regard you as an exceptionally strong threat. I'm sure a little campaigning on Saturday will show the Lib Dems up for the phoneys they are.
