Blitz-Campaign

NewspaperA great Tory 10-people strong campaign team descended today on King’s Cross station led by yours truly and comprising various activists from over London. We distributed free leaflets that looked like newspapers to commuters going (hopefully) out of London and (hopefully) living in a ward which is up for election.

The first minutes seemed quite tense, with us annoying (and being annoyed by) Network Rail and the Evening Standard. We managed, however, to find some good spots outside their evil reach and went through approximately half of over 2000 leaflets. After doing a bin run close to none were found in the bins at King’s X and St Pancras, which is very encouraging. Hopefully we managed to remind some voters about the chance they have to change their local community for the better, by supporting a party that trusts people to take care of their community and environment.

Many thanks to those involved if they read the blog and let us wait for the count tonight and tomorrow!
