Dear Member,

This is to announce that the President has called an EGM for Thursday 4th November at 7pm in Chadwick G07. This EGM is to elect members to positions currently either vacant or filled by co-opted Committee members. This EGM is also called in order to ratify constitutional amendments. Only paid up members of the Society can attend this EGM and vote. Only paid up members of the Society can run for positions. No alcohol will be served and the venue is accessible.

If you are not on our mailing list but are a member of the Society then please email in order to obtain a copy of the Agenda and Nominations Form. Copies will also be available at our next event on Tuesday in hard copy.
William Hall, President

P.S. This EGM is necessary in order to fulfil certain Union requirements and it was agreed this would take place over the Summer. There are no new factors in the decision to hold an EGM and the primary necessity for holding one is to shift our Treasurer position from ‘co-opted Interim’ to ‘fully elected’.

In the interest of free speech, these comments are unmoderated. Please do, however, bear in mind the words of Lady Margaret Thatcher: "If they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left."
