Inaugural Ceilidh Dance..

On Saturday we held our inaugural Celidh Dance in the Old Refectory and the event went down a treat! The turnout exceeded our expectations and everyone who came had a fantastic and fun evening. The dancing and open bar created a lovely atmosphere and all attendees enjoyed learning dances such as ‘Gay Gordons’ and ‘Stripping the Willow’. Our band were brilliant and the caller was very helpful for all those Scottish Dancing newcomers!

Many thanks must go to Tori Miller, our Social Secretary for putting so much effort into this event, as well as to the whole Committee for working so spectacularly together to both promote this event and decorate the room! I am sure that everyone is now looking forward to next year’s Ceilidh!
