Trip to Parliament

On Thursday 26th November UCL Conservative Society members were treated to a tour of Parliament, under the sponsorship of Ed Vaizey MP. The group met at lunchtime and spent the afternoon being shown around the inside of the Houses of Parliament, including both the Lords and Commons chambers. It was a very interesting experience and certainly an insight in the life of politicians and civil servants. The afternoon was topped off by a trip to the pub!

Many thanks go to our President Will Hall for organizing the day and also to Ed Vaizey for sponsoring the tour. It was a wonderful day and hopefully something which we can make annual.
