Welcoming Andrew Mitchell MP

On January 24th we were very lucky to welcome the Rt. Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, the International Development Secretary, to UCL to speak to the society more about his role and the specifics of his job. Mr Mitchell also faced a number of interesting and tough questions on topics such as foreign aid in China & Russia, the role & effectiveness of foreign aid and the changes he as a Conservative had made to the role of International Development. It was a pleasure to welcome him to UCL and we hope he enjoyed himself. Thank you to all who attended for your interesting questions!
